Any idea what happened to her leg? Praying it heals by the next letter received!

I had to contact CI about her legs because her information tells me that they are both 'crippled' and yet her information also told me that her favorite activities are walking and running. That just didn't add up to me! They informed me that she had been in some kind of accident and both her legs were fractured and that she was receiving constant medical care to heal them.
